About Me

I’ve always believed life is about connection—with others and with ourselves.

Growing up as the middle child of five, I learned early on the value of relationships and finding meaning in every moment. Those lessons shaped my purpose: helping others grow and thrive.

My first “classroom” was our backyard, where I rallied neighborhood kids into lessons I’d created—complete with snacks. The snacks didn’t last long, nor did my students, but the experience taught me something important: helping people transform works best when you walk beside them, not pull them along.

That insight guided me through a deeply fulfilling chapter as an educator and guidance counselor, where I worked to help students unlock their potential and discover their strengths. This, and earning my MSEd, inspired me to found Princeton Power Learners, an educational service where I coached young people to overcome self-doubt and build confidence and self-efficacy. Watching them grow was deeply rewarding and fueled my curiosity to understand more about human behavior and flourishing.

Following this chapter, I earned a PhD, further exploring motivation, emotional intelligence, and positive psychology. That journey led me to become an executive leadership coach, working with leaders at some of the world’s top organizations.  My incredible leadership clients continue to show me the profound impact of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and authentic connection in driving both personal and professional success.

And … something else became clear. Many high-powered women I coached confided in me about feeling disconnected from their adolescent children. Balancing demanding careers with a desire for meaningful family connections, they were searching for a way to bridge the gap. That’s when I created the PAR Wellbeing Program to help parents reconnect with their kids while managing their professional lives.

At the heart of my work is my own family, who inspire me daily. My husband is my biggest advocate and supporter, and our children remind me of the power of positive connection: our daughter is a hematologist-oncologist, our son a corporate lawyer, and our youngest daughter a creative force in advertising. Staying connected with them, their partners, and our five beautiful grandsons —despite busy lives—has taught me so much about how relationships evolve, and how to show up fully for the people you love.

I bring everything I’ve learned—both professionally and personally—into my coaching, because I believe that our greatest triumphs are born from the relationships we invest in, especially the one we nurture within ourselves.

Socrates - (the other guy)

Fun Fact

My Samoyed, Socrates—better known as Soci or Socs—is lovingly known around town as the "Mayor of Osterville.” Summer sun or winter chill, he can be spotted cruising in the back of our convertible.  People can’t help but point and laugh (and take a picture or two) as this fluffy showstopper, displaying his famous “Sammy Smile,” soaks in the views, completely unbothered by even the iciest breezes.
